NC Thurman
Noble Clark started playing with bands, back in the sixties. He plays keyboard, harmonica, guitar, and vocals. He has peformed with artists such as Bettye Swann, Eddie Floyd, Donnie Fritts, Gregg Allman, Billy Dean, the Forrester Sisters, Little Richard, Percy Sledge, Hank Williams Jr., Kris Kristofferson, and Delbert McClinton, to mention a few. He has performed on recording sessions with the likes of Chuck Leavell, Bobby Whitlock, Butch Trucks, Roger Hawkins, David Hood, Larry Byrom, Johnny Sandlin, Jack Pearson, Kelvin Holly, Scott Boyer, and many more. NC writes, does session work, and performs with different groups, most notably a group from Muscle Shoals known as the Decoys, formed by legendary producer/musician Johnny Sandlin. The Decoys feature Scott Boyer, Kelvin Holly, and David Hood. He also records and performs with the hot Muscle Shoals funk group Gulliver, the Muscle Shoals Soul Review, and more. He has a body of work written with Scott Boyer, who wrote "Please be with me", recorded by Eric Clapton. He and Boyer have penned songs recorded by Gregg Allman, Jimmy Hall, Johnny Jenkins, Chuck Leavell, Wayne Toups, Neal McCoy, and more. He also has written with Muscle Shoals songwriters Donnie Fritts, Nancy Muse, Bill Blackburn, Spooner Oldham, Eddie Struzick, Terry Skinner, Don Von Tres, Tonya Holly, Gary Nickols, Roger Hawkins, and more.
